NOTICE OF A PUBLIC HEARING CITY OF SOUTH LAKE TAHOE PLANNING COMMISSION MEETING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in accordance with Sections 65090 and 65091 (Planning and Zoning Law) of the Government Code: the City of South Lake Tahoe Planning Commission will conduct a public hearing on July 16, 2020 at 3:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as possible, in the City Council Chambers, 1901 Lisa Maloff Way (formerly Airport Road), South Lake Tahoe Airport, to consider the following: 1. Consideration of the Tourist Core Area Plan/Specific Plan and Bijou/Al Tahoe Community Plan Amendment Summary: The Planning Commission will consider adoption of the Initial Study/Negative Declaration prepared for the proposed amendment and will consider recommending the City of South Lake Tahoe City Council adopt the proposed amendment to the Tourist Core Area Plan and Bijou/Al Tahoe Community Plan initiated by the owners of the Beach Retreat and Lakeshore Lodge. Consideration of an Appeal of VHR Permit Expiration, Permit # 004804 Expiration, 771 Lassen Drive South Lake Tahoe, California Summary: The applicant is seeking to appeal the expiration of a VHR permit for 771 Lassen Drive 6. Consideration of an Appeal of VHR Permit Expiration, Permit # 007060 Expiration, 472 Christie, South Lake Tahoe, California Summary: The applicant is seeking to appeal the expiration of a VHR permit for 472 Christie Drive 7. Consideration of a Special Use Permit and California Environmental Quality Act Categorical Exemption for a Verizon telecommunication facility located at 3901 Saddle Road (Tahoe Seasons Resort), South Lake Tahoe, California, File #19-160 Summary: Verizon is requesting approval of a new cellular telecommunication facility to be constructed on the rooftop of Tahoe Season Resorts located at 3901 Saddle Road (John Hitchcock, Email Me) All interested persons are invited to attend and speak on the projects or may write their comments to the City Planning Division. Pursuant to Government Code Section 65009(b)(2), if you challenge the application in court, you may be limited to raising only those items you or someone else raised at the Public Hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Planning Division at, or prior to, the Public Hearing.
